A little background: I’m 29 years old. I have a decent moderately well-paying career. I have no kids. One day I plan to marry a beautiful woman. I’m not sure if I want kids, but I’m not against having kids. That is a decision I hope to make with aforementioned beautiful wife. With this in mind, below are five big issues I face when dating.
1. I don’t have a type. This is self-explanatory. I didn’t use to think I was picky until recently. A line-up of my ex-girlfriends looks like a red carpet waiting list for a United Nations party. Two weeks after a completely mutual break up, Lucy* arranged a meeting with her now-ex to “exchange stuff.” Sure, he had some of her sweaters, and she had some of his comic books. But the reunion—scheduled for a Saturday afternoon at Lucy’s, when her roommates would be out—entailed much more than swapping goods both parties probably forgot even existed. Dear Sasha,
I am newly single after living with my ex for 3 years. He didn’t want to get married so I figured, since I do, and also want kids, that I needed to end the relationship, and to find a man that wants the same in life. Problem is, all the men that I’m meeting online seem to just want sex. I work a full time job, and making time to date is a challenge. Is there something that I’m doing to attract this Click here to read more…
